Types of Herbal Teas for Treating Blood Pressure

Alfalafa tea is yet another effective tea for treating high blood pressure. In order to prepare the tea, take one spoon of crushed alfalfa seeds and four cups of water. Boil the seeds in the water and then strain. When it is cooled enough, drink the tea at least seven times a day.

Hawthorn tea is also a useful tea which is effective in keeping the blood pressure under control. Crush some hawthorn blossoms, some crushed dried leaves of hawthorn and put it in boiling water. Boil it for around 20 minutes, let it cool and drink it for three to four times a day. You will see the results in a few weeks.

Marigold tea is also found to be effective in treating high blood pressure. In order to make the marigold tea, take two spoons of marigold flower heads and crush them and boil them in two cups of water. Then throw away the flower and drain the water. Drink this tea two times a day.
