Wide range of diseases infects humans in cases of bacterial infections, so is responsible the micro-organisms. Bacteria are tiniest organisms that remain available everywhere. They prove life-threatening if infect respiratory system or depreciate digestive health of humans while targeting them.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis causes tuberculosis in humans, and those suffering with it start coughing excessively. They may also suffer from terrible pain in their chest and coughing up of blood, excessive weight loss, fatigue, loss of appetite and repeated fever to deteriorate health condition of sufferers.

Like tuberculosis, bubonic plague is other life-threatening disease that infects people through bacterial infection. Yersinia pestis category of bacteria becomes the major reason of such plagues. Another category of bubonic plagues are those that spread through bacterial infection from rats or fleas. Once bloodstream gets infected with bacterium the impact of the chronic disease named sepses starts making human bodies ineffective. Bacteria also infect lungs to invite pneumonic plague. Other alarming aspect with bacteria is that they keep recycling nutrients in the body and make it prone to various such diseases.

Bacteria and Diseases: The concept of whooping cough is not a new phenomenon. Referred to as pertussis it too develops chronic condition in the human bodies. Bordetella pertussis bacteria spread such ailments. This disease is evidenced in the infants that may easily damage the immune system of the new born babies. Nausea, severe coughing, and fever are major symptoms of pertussis. Likewise famous disease cholera is caused due to vibrio cholerae bacterial infection in the intestines.

Most such infections contaminate food and water that ultimately cause diarrhoea. The list of such bacterial infectious diseases is endless. All factors should be understood before determining the extent to which bacteria may cause human diseases. It still remains impossible to assess a complete list of those diseases which are caused through bacterial infections.
