Though most are unaware but sometimes the hardening of the calf muscles also occurs due to excessive smoking, so stop smoking, this happens basically because of the poor circulation of the blood.
You can also lay down on the floor with your legs elevated. In this situation you massage the calf muscles. This is said to be one of the most relaxed positions for the calf muscles. Giving heat to the calf muscles also work wonders.
Make sure your calf muscle hasn’t become stiffed or hardened. For this, keep stretching them on a regular basis.
You shouldn’t bother yourself by doing anything which alleviates the pain, so it better to keep the leg in a comfortable position.
