Home Remedies for Warts

There are a number of home remedies for warts which are said to cure the warts, though it is said that it takes long time to heal. Natural treatment of warts will include treating it with pineapple pieces, applying banana peel. Warts take a long time to heal so you have to patient enough.

Warts are a type of skin disorder which may affect anyone. They are known to be caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

Warts and the Infection

These warts are of different kinds and are said to be highly contagious in nature. They are also known to spread from body part to another. These are said to be harmless in nature but a source of great embarrassment to the one who suffers from these.

These are known to occur on any part of the body like the vagina, face, hands. They basically occur from cuts on the skin. The worse aspect of these warts is that they take a very long time to heal and it might take months before the person is completely healed of these warts.

These warts are around 2-10 millimetres in size. There are different kinds of warts like the Plantar warts, Genital warts, Digitate warts, Flat warts.

Home Remedies for Warts

However a number of home remedies are available for curing the warts. Applying the crushed garlic on the affected area is recommended. You can then cover it with a bandage. It will take around a week or so to get cure from the warts.

Applying paste of baking soda and castor oil is also effective. After applying you should cover the area with a bandage. Doing this daily will help in curing the wart.

Applying pineapple piece to plantar warts also is helpful. Proteolytic enzymes are said to be present in the pineapple which are effective in dissolving the warts. Every morning you should soak your foot in hot water and after sometime you will see your skin getting recovered.

Tea tree oil is also said to be very effective in curing the warts as it is having antiseptic properties. It is also known to be having soothing effect on the skin.

Duck tape is also useful in curing the warts. You should replace it daily. It is having warming properties which in turn softens the skin and thus warts can be removed easily.
You can also apply fig stem juice on the area. Applying camphor oil is also useful. Banana is said to be one of the most useful remedy for warts. You should place the banana peel on the affected area and cover it with a bandage. Try to replace the peel daily. It will work wonders as banana peel is said to be one of the most effective home remedies for curing the warts.
